A meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to the Islamic Republic of Iran

As we reported earlier, representatives of BMB Trade Group are on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on May 15-20 this year.
At the beginning of the visit, a meeting was held between the Executive Director of BMB Trade Group Aziz Mamatkulov, the Head of the Department for Work with State and Public Organizations Abdurakhmanov Bokhodur and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to the Islamic Republic of Iran Bahodir Abdullayev.
During the meeting, information was provided on a number of joint investment projects implemented by BMB Trade Group in our country.
At the same time, issues of establishing multifaceted trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Iran, increasing mutual foreign trade, studying Iran’s experience in the field of agriculture and exporting BMB Za’faron products and other types of agricultural products were discussed.
For his part, B. Abdullayev stressed that trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran has been developing more and more in recent years and informed that he would provide practical assistance in establishing cooperation with large Iranian business circles.
In the afternoon, the delegation met with the Secretary General of the International Trade Department of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mining Mahdi Saatchi and the Secretary General of the Joint Chambers of Iran and Uzbekistan Mohammad Masoudi. At the meeting, the issue of studying the experience of the Islamic Republic of Iran in growing saffron and attracting specialists to Uzbekistan was discussed.
